Happy occasion today, peeps! Please help me wish a very Happy 27th (!!) Birthday to my big brother, Ben!

So in true tributary-blog-post form, here are a few facts about Ben:

Fact: He made me buy a house with him. (Two-thirds his, one-third mine, allegedly.)

Fact: 9 times out of 10, at a restaurant he will order a burger. (Is it any wonder that we’re heading to Red Robin tonight for his b-day dinner?)

Fact: Give him the ability to choose the movie for movie night, and you’re pretty much guaranteed one of the following: Saving Private Ryan, Tron, Top Gun, or one of the four Aliens movies.

Fact: Despite his tendencies for undeniable “guy” movies, he has watched all three Twilight movies.

Fact: He made it until two (2!!) days before the movie release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince without knowing that (spoiler alert!) Dumbledore dies. Thanks a lot, AMANDA. So, ergo, assuming he actually reads this blog regularly (doubtful) please ensure there are NO SPOILERS FOR THE 2nd HALF OF DEATHLY HALLOWS! You’re welcome, bro.

Fact: He really digs frogs.

Fact: He is really into jumping.

Fact: He gave me a KitchenAid mixer for Christmas last year, and I burst into tears upon opening it. Best present ever.

Fact: He’s a pretty awesome big brother. Happy birthday, bro.
